High fidelity

Moving from low fidelity prototypes into high- fidelity gives you the opportunity to really design something beautiful.

Place holder text and boxes with X's are replaced with clear text and images. From this point the designer should have a much clearer idea about what the app is going to look like when it's finished.

"Design is not just what it looks and feels like. Design is how it works" Steve Jobs

After the high fidelity mockup you will have to conduct another usability study to make sure you get feedback on the changes you have made. Everything from the colour and size of the buttons down to the placement of the brand logo has to fall in line with your deign brief and the results of previous usability studies. It may take several iterations and usability studies before you get the product to look polished and function correctly.
